Participation Guidelines

Non-invited attendees are expected to register as delegates to PMPAsia 2021. Oral speakers have to complete registration prior to abstract submission.

Registration fee

Registration is required to attend scientific sessions.
Full fee of 1,000 Japanese Yen will be applied to all the delegates. Students* who will give oral presentations must pay the full fee. The payment should be made in 2 weeks after registration.

If you are considering giving an oral presentation in PMPAsia 2021, please complete Registration and Payment first, and then submit an abstract for your presentation by e-mail before the deadline (July 31 Aug 31). Organizing Committee will check your payment status, review the abstracts, and notify you of the decision on abstract acceptance by August 31 September 15, 2021. If your payment is not confirmed, your abstract may be rejected.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations are accepted only if the conference secretariat is notified by e-mail.

Please take into consideration the following rules:

∙ For cancellation requests received within 2 weeks after payment: Full registration fee will be refunded, but an administration fee of 50 Japanese Yen will be charged.
∙ For cancellation requests received after November 1, 2021: No refund will be provided.
∙ Even if cancellation requests are received within 2 weeks after payment, the registration desk cannot accept cancellations after November 1.
∙ If you submit your abstract and your abstract is not accepted, cancellation requests received within 2 weeks after the notification will be eligible for a refund.

If you are students

Please ask your attendance to your supervisor. Please write your supervisor's name in the registration form.

If you are in Japan

You can choose how to join PMPAsia 2021 conference:
(1) Participating online or
(2) Going to Icho Kaikan at Osaka University and watching the live streaming with other participants.
On-site attendance at Osaka University is unavailable. Please join online.

At Icho Kaikan at Osaka University (Osaka, Japan), a joint symposium of Osaka University, University of California, Davis, and Kirin Holdings Co. Ltd. will take place in the morning on November 10. You can choose how to join the symposium:
(1) Participating online or
(2) Going to Icho Kaikan at Osaka University and joining the face-to-face meeting.
On-site attendance at Osaka University is unavailable. Please join online.

Please specify your choice in the registration form.

Note: Depending on the status of COVID-19 in Japan, the conference may be held completely online and the option (2) may become unavailable.

Process of registration and payment

Processes 1)–7) are for delegates and student speakers. The payment should be made in 2 weeks after registration.
Processes 1)–4) are for invited speakers, guests, and students without presentation.
